Today was one of those rare warm days in Winter.
We had been talking about going to Diamond Harbour for a while now, so it was good to finally get around to that!
We set out with a friend who is moving to Auckland in a few weeks, not knowing what we were going to find.
It was an adventure indeed.
So beautiful and wintery, but warm a the same time.
There were waterfalls, wild mushrooms, some free-lensing and some wild leg cramp from trying to use your knee as a tripod.
My hoodie has a wet elbow and the knees of my jeans are mud stained.
The signs of a good adventure.
